Steven, his family and I celebrated the one-year anniversary of their coming to live at Ransom Ranch. We harvested an exceptional crop of wheat in June, thanks to Steven’s efforts.

I’ve successfully grown kamut (R) for five years and wanted to try white Sonoran wheat (L) this year. The yield looks great, though we haven’t finished threshing, winnowing and weighing yet.

So glad a family is enjoying Ransom Ranch, Marcia. I had a fun time deciphering the two stalks of wheat photo. Could it be light bending over a shoulder?!
