SOIL | A Good Sense of Humanure

The Humanure Handbook

The Humanure Handbook

If you have not read Joseph Jenkins excellent book The Humanure Handbook it’s time!  Should be required reading. Even as a life-long composter, I am amazed by this method which uses zero water. There are no flies, no odors, and a valuable by-product is created, using simple things found on site!

This is an example of combining simple old methods with modern science instead of complicated, expensive, resource-wasting systems which are not sustainable.
